FAQ's

1. Can a refund be given on a yard waste sticker that has been purchased?

We cannot give a refund for the sticker as it is registered to that individual, we also do not know if it has been used or not.

2. Can a resident get a sticker to put on a relative's vehicle if they do not have a vehicle that they can use to haul yard waste?

If the applicant is a resident, the vehicle can be someone else’s, does not have to be a resident.

3. Do you get a replacement sticker if you get a new vehicle and cannot get the sticker off to transfer it?

Yes, you can get a new sticker if you obtain a new vehicle and cannot get the sticker off. No need for remnants of sticker.

4. A resident has an extra sticker that they have not put on their second vehicle, they want to know if an individual that offered to help with a truck could use the extra sticker to use the YWTS?

The person who purchased the sticker would have their vehicle registered at the Town Hall with that sticker, if they gave it to someone else, the vehicle information would be wrong.  It would have to be changed on the form.
