Administrator 

Michael J.D. Brown

Biography: Michael was appointed as Buchanan's Town Administrator on May 1, 2023. Michael will be working as a full-time employee for the Town.

Job Duties: The Town Administrator is the chief administrative officer of the Town and is appointed by the Town Board. The primary responsibilities of the Town Administrator are to carry out the directives of the Town Board and manage the day-to-day operations of Town government. The Administrator strives to make Town government efficient, effective and responsible.

Clerk - Treasurer

Cynthia Sieracki

Biography: Cynthia was appointed November 2013 as Buchanan's Treasurer/Deputy Clerk by the Town Board.  Cynthia was later promoted and appointed to the combined position of Clerk - Treasurer on November 15, 2016.  Cynthia works approximately 32 hours per week.

Job Duties: The Clerk -Treasurer oversees the Town's finances in compliance with state statutes, including the day-to-day accounting of Town expenditures and revenues.  This position also performs duties related to the issuance of licenses, permits, elections and official record keeping.

Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer

Alyse Lincoln

Biography: Alyse was hired as Buchanan's Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer on July 22, 2024. Alyse works approximately 32 hours per week on a weekly schedule.

Job Duties: The Deputy Clerk/Deputy Treasurer assists the Clerk/Treasurer with Elections, Tax Collection. This position also performs duties related to the issuance of licenses, permits and provides general office assistance to town staff members and town officials.  This position is a point of contact for residents, developers, businesses, and other governmental units which may have questions or concerns regarding the Town of Buchanan. Also performs duties related to issuance of licenses and permits.

Engineering Technician

Dennis Jandrey

Biography: Dennis was hired as Buchanan's Engineering Technician on March 7, 2022. Dennis will be working as a full-time employee for the Town.

Job Duties: The Town Engineering Technician position involves semi-skilled and limited technical field and office work for the Town of Buchanan. Work responsibilities may include construction survey, AutoCAD drafting, construction inspection of infrastructure projects and GIS. This position may perform plan reviews and inspections such as drainage, culverts, driveways, stormwater management, right-of-way excavation, erosion control and road inspection.
